With their Champions League jersey line for the 2019-20 season, Nike set out to remember the 90s – an era that grew to define many of their flagship clubs. For Roma, it just made sense.
In 1993, a 16-year-old Francesco Totti donned his kit and training jacket on his debut match with the club. The two tops created a deep navy and Roma-maroon color combination. It’s an image that still sticks in Roma supporter’s minds to this day, and it plays out on this kit. Further, the circular, all-over jacquard pattern features the ASR lockup graphic and the Lupetto Wolf – iconic images from the 90s era of Rome’s great club. This one is history, tradition and club hero, all wrapped up in one.
