When you’ve got the European history to boast of, why not make it the defining feature of your Champions League kit? Inter’s third jersey for 2019-20 brings in two bits from their European cup victories over the last two decades. First, yellow trim from the 97/98 UEFA Cup win, then, the alternating colored crew neck collar from the 09/10 Champions League triumph over Bayern.
The top is finished off with an all-over jacquard graphic using a matte/shine finish. It uses Inter Milan’s logo in every other panel – “Inter” is spelled out in the remaining panels. Sponsor logos rarely come into play, but Pirelli’s does here. It’s colorway clashes off the black kit, the same way it does in the sponsor’s F1 racing sponsorships. What’s it all mean? The race for silverware is on.
